I use this information to stay connected with you through my blog. This means that I send you occasional newsletters with information about new blog posts. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
Google Analytics can access anonymised data of visitors but it is not shared beyond this site.
Data (your name and email address) collected through opting in to email subscription is held in Kit.
I do not sell your personal data to third parties. Beyond the technical services used to run the site (such as Google Analytics for anonymised traffic data and Kit for email delivery), your information is not shared.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Your information from email subscriptions will be kept until you choose to unsubscribe. Please contact me if you would like your data to be manually removed from my records earlier.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have left comments or have subscribed to the email newsletter, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me.
